Who is responsible
The data controller for this site is Hamilton Digital Media Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 15608219, at 13a Mill Lane, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 1LN, United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, write to hello@cardgameclassics.com.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. That is not a figure of speech: the site is a set of static files, there is no application server behind it, and there is nowhere for your data to go even if we wanted it. We do not know who you are, which games you played, or that you visited at all except in the aggregate that Google Analytics reports to us.
If you email us, we obviously have your email and whatever you wrote — we keep those messages so we can act on them and refer back, and we do not add you to anything.
What Google collects
Two Google services run on this site, and between them they account for every piece of data collected here.

Through the consent box, Google and its advertising partners may store and read information on your device, build a profile for personalised advertising, measure adverts and content, do audience research, and use precise location data. The box listed 222 partners when this policy was written and names them all under "List of partners"; that number changes, and the box is always the current answer rather than this page.
Some of those partners rely on legitimate interests rather than consent for parts of what they do. You can object to that individually under "Manage options" in the same box.
Your choices, and the legal basis
If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, nothing non-essential runs until you choose. Analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default and are only enabled if you consent, which is the lawful basis we rely on — except where a partner has told Google it relies on legitimate interests, which you can object to.
Outside those regions the defaults differ, because the law does. If you would rather not be measured wherever you are, the browser controls and Google opt-outs described in the cookie policy work everywhere.
Withdrawing or changing consent
Your answer is not permanent. Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to reopen the consent box and change or withdraw what you agreed to. Withdrawing does not undo processing that already happened, but it stops it from continuing.
Where your data goes
Google is a US company and processes data in the United States and elsewhere. Those transfers are made under the safeguards Google puts in place — currently the UK and EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US and UK–US Data Privacy Framework. We are not a party to those arrangements; we are a publisher using Google's services, and Google's own privacy policy governs what it does with the data.
How long anything is kept is likewise Google's to set, not ours. We hold no data with a retention period, because we hold no data.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You can also withdraw consent at any time, as above.
Because we hold nothing ourselves, a request about advertising or analytics data is really a request to Google, and we will say so and point you to them rather than pretend otherwise. If you would like us to try, write anyway and we will help where we can.
If you think your data has been mishandled you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your own country's supervisory authority.
Children
Some of the games here — Go Fish, Crazy Eights, Old Maid when it arrives — are games children play, and children are welcome to play them. The site is not directed at children as an audience, we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, and there is no account to create, nothing to buy and nothing to share. If you are a parent and have a concern, write to us.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top changes when the substance does. The most likely reason for a change is AdSense being approved and adverts starting to appear, which will not alter what is described here — the consent box and the choices behind it are already live.
