Say hello

Contact

One address, read by the two people who actually build the site. No ticket system, no chatbot, and nothing you have to sign up for in order to write to us.

Email is the way in, for anything at all:

There is no contact form. The site is a set of static files with no server behind it, which is also why it has no accounts and collects nothing about you — adding a form would mean adding the very thing we have deliberately gone without.

If a rule here is wrong

This is the one we most want to hear about, and the reason the address exists. The whole site is built on the claim that the rules are right, so an error is a defect rather than a difference of opinion.

You do not need to prove anything or write it up formally. "The Euchre page is wrong about stick-the-dealer, nobody plays it that way here" is a perfectly good email and we will do the digging.

If something does not work for you

Accessibility problems go to the front of the queue. What helps most is knowing what you were using at the time — screen reader and browser, keyboard only, a switch, page zoom, a phone — because that is the part we cannot guess from the report. Our accessibility statement lists what we already know is wrong, so you can see whether yours is new to us.

Ordinary bugs are welcome too: a game that will not let you make a move you think is legal, a board that looks broken, a score that seems wrong. Saying which game and roughly what happened is enough.

Adverts

The site is free and will be funded by advertising through Google AdSense. If you ever see an advert here that is inappropriate or misleading, please tell us — we can block individual advertisers and categories, and we would rather know.

Anything else

Press, business, licensing, or you simply want to say that you have been playing Cribbage on here every lunchtime — all fine, same address. What we cannot do is settle an argument at your table by ruling in someone's favour, tell you the rules of a game we have not built, or help with a different card site that happens to look like this one.

How quickly we reply

Honestly: we read everything, and we do not always reply. Two people run this alongside other work. Corrections and accessibility reports get answered; a note that made us smile might just quietly make us happy instead. If something is urgent, say so in the subject line and it will be seen sooner.
